Five tv shows i’ve been loving – animated fantasy edition

Hi friends, how are you feeling today ?? how’s the weather where you are ?? Is it cold, rainy and foggy ?? Is is the perfect weather to stay in your pjs and binge watch a new series ?? Are you perhaps looking for an amazing new series to watch ?? Well look no further, today’s post is all about the animated fantasy tv series i have been watching and loving so grab a nice warm blanket and a good snack and let’s netflix and chill!

Avatar The Last Airbender

We cannot talk about animated tv series without talking about the top tier – god’s creation – fountain of youth – best characters – greatest story line – top notch – 11/10 – best tv series there is out there. Of course, that is none other than Avatar the Last Airbender. This show is just perfection on a golden plate, I truly believe it doesn’t get better than this and i am absolutely okay with it. I love it so much I can’t even form proper words or thoughts to talk about so just watch it, you won’t regret it!

The Legend of Korra

After ATLA comes The Legend Of Korra! Set in the same world and created by the same producers/writers Korra is the next Avatar after Ang and has a plethora of battles she has to face. It is just has a amazing has Avatar the Last Airbender if not better. The characters are flawed and well developed and the story line is just *chef’s kiss*. The only reason I love ATLA more is because i’ve grown up with it and it holds a very special place in my heart (also because Appa is the cutest bean ever).

The Dragon Prince

This one has such a cool magic system and such a great backstory about natural enemies coming together to fight the world’s injustices. The characters and the world are once again well developed. The twists and turns will keep you guessing what is going to happen next and keep you on the edge of your seat. Filed with a diverts cast of characters this show will take you on a roller coaster of emotions so buckle up buttercup and enjoy the ride!

She-Ra and the Princess of Power

If you like bad ass characters who aren’t scared of pushing limits to fight for what is right, scenes filled with emotions, aesthetically pleasing scenery with beautiful colours and a diverse group of unlikely heroes coming together to achieve a common goal then this one might for you! everything about this show is so great and coming of age, it’s refreshing, funny and adorable all in one, I highly suggest you give she ra a chance. Plus the villains are so intricate and well written, if you love villains, you are going to love She-Ra and the Princess of Power.

Kipo and the age of Wonderbeasts

I’ve only started this one recently and have only seen a few episodes but truly enjoyed what i have seen so far. It has interesting characters – including cute animals – and an intriguing storyline and is very funny at times. A great show to sit back and relax while watching. Plus, you could easily binge watch the entire three seasons in one weekend if you really wanted to 😉
