Vacay TBR

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well, taking their meds and drinking water !!

Before getting into this post let me just acknowledge the way I took the entire month of February off after saying I wanted to post once a week for the entirety of 2023… (SIDE EYE)

Anyway, I am taking the plan TOMORROW and will be gone for 8 days, woot woot, going on a vacay where I’ll just sit on the beach, drink pina coladas and live my best life which is the perfect time to catch up on my reading so, here are the books I plan on reading during that time;

The books

(including books on my kindle i plan on reading)

I am finishing my re-read of Ninth House as I am writing this post (via audiobook) so I will be bringing Hell Bent with me on the airplane and if I only read one book while on vacation it will Definity be this one! I read Ninth House when it first came out and I ABSOLUTELY loved it so I’m super excited to see where the story takes us in the sequel.

I have been trying to read and re-read most of Stephen King’s biggest title for a mini road trip I am planning for either this fall or next fall to go visit Portland (where he is from and where he currently lives) since it is only a few hours away from where I live. His books are chunky and they take me a while to get through so I might not finish this book but if i can get through a good chunk of it then that is good enough for me!

I’ve had this book on my TBR for such a long time. Ever since my friends read it and raved about it to me I’ve been meaning to pick it up so bringing it with my on my beach vacation feels like the perfect match!

This book I’ve seen EVERYWHERE on social medias, I have no idea at all what the story is about but I do love urban legends and I do love lattes, plus the cover is super cute so I’m super excited to dive into this one!

And last, but not least, I plan to read Long Last Summer by Noué Kirwan. i picked up this book at the store simply because of the cover, the colours on the cover are beautiful, the title is intriguing and the little blurb at the bottom on the cover sounds like something up my alley. Plus, a summer rom-com for a beach vacay is exactly what I need!

These are the books I am planning on reading while traveling, i may not read them all or maybe I won’t read any of these but I do plan on reading! I also have over 200 books on my kindle that I will be bringing with me so I may also end up picking completely different books. If you are interested in knowing what I end up reading during my travels then keep your eyes peeled for a vacay wrap-up in the next few weeks!

Thank you for reading me 🤍
