20 questions booktag (part one)

“you should never settle for who you are”

Michael Scott, The Office

Hi hello. Yes. I know it’s been a little while, my blogging game hasn’t been at it’s best so far in 2020 so let me make up some excuses (because i’m really good at it 🙄) I’ve been super busy with work, family drama and just life in general. I wish i could say i’ve spent my time away from bloggin working on my wip and organozing other aspects of my life but i haven’t LOL… i’m a bit dissapointed in myself because there are lots of things i had planned for 2020 and so far i haven’t been really good at keeping up with all those things but the year as only started and i hace the next 11 months to redeem myself, so let’s start right now. 😁😁😁

OKAAAAY now that you are all updated on my *messy* life, lets get to today’s post; just a plain and simple tag; the 20 question booktag 🙂 no one tagged me but because my lack of inspiration for a new blog post, i decided to go with something easy and simple so let’s get into it!

1. How many books is too many books in a series? I personally love trilogies, so o would say 3 is the perfect number of books for 1 series. Most of the time they always give you just enough of the plot and the characters without over doing it. One thing i do love, is many series/trilogies in the same universe/world (like the shadowhunter’s world, for example) if it’s a world i truly love then i don’t mind reading about it over and over again.

2. How do you feel about cliffhangers? I LOVE THEM! I know they can be super annoying but when a book is really good and there’s a a big cliffhanger at the end it just makes me more excited for the sequel (looking at you, scythe & thunderhead)

3. Harbacks or paperbacks? Love me some floppy paperbacks 🤪

4. Favourite book? BOY i have so many! Here’s a few; spin the dawn, king of fools, a quiet kind of thunder, the book thief, all the bright places, every last word, strange the dreamer, clockwork princess and so many more.

5. Least favourite book? On the top of my head i can’t really think of any??? Maybe i’ll write an entire article on problematic & boring books? 👀

6. Love triangles. Yes or no? If done correctly then YES ALWAYS but if done poorly then… thank you, NEXT

7. The most recent book you just couldn’t finish? Ummmm? I don’t dnf books often so i really couldn’t say, sorry 😬

8. A book you’re currently reading? I’m currently listening to the audiobook of “The Toll” by Neal Shusterman, physically reading “its not like its a secret” by Misa Mugiura, and buddy reading “The Mast Magician” by Lisa Maxwell with one of my closest online friend that i love with all my heart 💖

9. Last book you recommend to someone? Probably “Spin the Dawn” by Elizabeth Lim because i’ve been shoving it down everyone’s troath since i’ve read it in 2019 lol. GO READ IT PLS AND TY

10. Oldest book you’ve read? So i had to do a little research to properly answer this question but the oldest book i’ve read is “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” which was published in 1865, closely followed by “Little Women” which was published in 1868.

So that is it for part of of the 20 questions booktag 🤗 keep your eyes open for part 2 which should come to your screen soon enough!!
